AEW's Anthony Ogogo Calls Out Jake Paul

Anthony Ogogo wants to fight Jake Paul

The boxing world has seen an influx of influencers and other sporting personalities over the last few years, bringing big events involving the likes of Logan Paul, KSI, and Jake Paul. Many big names have been involved from both worlds, leading to many fights that were an impossibility not too long ago.

AEW’s Anthony Ogogo wants in on the crossover boxing buzz. On X, Ogogo sent out this tweet in regards to Jake Paul, calling him out.

“@jakepaul if you want to fight a REAL BOXER!! I’m right here!”

This comes in relation to Jake Paul not fighting “real” boxers throughout many of his fights, coming up against MMA fighters like Ben Askren, Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley, and Nate Diaz, all of whom have lost to Paul.

Before entering the world of professional wrestling, Ogogo was a former professional boxer who would also notably win an Olympic bronze medal during his time as an amateur. Ogogo would have an impressive 11-1 professional record before being ruled out due to eye issues. Ogogo has done very little in AEW recently. He sat on the All In Zero Hour, with this being his only notable appearance for the last couple of years.
