AEW's Cody Rhodes Reveals He Has Political Aspirations

Following in the footsteps of Kane & Jesse "The Body" Ventura...

The worlds of professional wrestling and politics have often come into contact. Jesse "The Body" Ventura was the Governor of Minnesota from 1999 until 2003, Kane is the current mayor of Knox County, Tennessee and WWE Hall Of Famer Donald Trump will be President of the United States until late-January 2021.

Another name in wrestling has political aspirations as Cody Rhodes recently told Bleacher Report he would love to run for the United States Senate in Georgia.

The American Nightmare said: "I'm 35, and I said I only wanted to wrestle for five more years. I have political aspirations. I would love to run for the Senate in the great state of Georgia. I want to help with the sphere of influence I have created. I always say if you do the work, it will pay off. That is why I love Brandi. She is so incredibly hardworking, and we have to remind each other to be present often, but when we are it's very special."
