Mark Henry Praises Segment On WWE SmackDown
When it comes to mentioning WWE, AEW and its wrestlers don’t shy away from it, but usually it comes in more of a negative or controversial light, such as using it as an insult in a promo or to fire a cheap dig. It isn’t often where someone in AEW openly praises WWE, but Mark Henry did exactly that.
Following the March 17 episode of SmackDown, Henry joined many fans in dishing out praise for a segment. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, after weeks of back-and-forth, finally reunited in the ring with a hug, causing an electric reaction and huge ovation from the audience. This was too good for Henry to not comment on.
Henry took to twitter to deliver praise, stating; “So good!” in a quote tweet from someone who had posted the video of the pair hugging.
Henry is a WWE legend and Hall of Famer, formerly winning the World Heavyweight Championship, European Championship, and ECW Championship throughout his 25 year career with the promotion.
