Ahead of Lance Archer & The Lucha Brothers vs. Eddie Kingston, The Butcher & The Blade on AEW: Dynamite, Penta El Zero M was put through the timekeeper's table by The Butcher and was taken backstage.

This left Archer and Fenix to fight on without Penta in a 3-on-2 Handicap Match.

According to Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net, The Lucha Brother was pulled from the match because he suffered a legitimate leg injury in training a few weeks ago. How long he will be out of action for is currently unknown.

2020 has been an injury-filled year for The Lucha Brothers. Most recently, Rey Fenix suffered a neck injury during a match with his brother in the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament. The former AAA Mega Champion was subsequently taken out of the tournament and replaced by Penta, who went on to lose to Kenny Omega. Fenix also injured his back and hip ahead of the Casino Ladder Match at Double Or Nothing and was pulled from the pay-per-view.
