Willow Nightingale was officially announced as an AEW signing on last week's Rampage, and recently made her aims clear on social media.

Nightingale took to Twitter, posting:

"Willow Nightingale — intriguing your mothers and wives into watching wrestling and luring ex-fans back with arms wide open.

"Basically I wanna be the one to bring back old ladies to wrestling shows, swatting their purses at the bad guys and giving them a stern talking to from the front row."

Willow first appeared for AEW in April 2021, and would also appear semi-regularly for ROH that same year. She began to receive regular AEW bookings earlier this year, initially on Dark and Dark: Elevation, but since progressing to Rampage and Dynamite.

She made her professional debut in 2015 and has been a regular staple of the American independent scene since, appearing in promotions such as SHIMMER, GCW and MLW. In AEW she has primarily clashed with Jade Cargill and The Baddies, twice challenging Cargill for the TBS Championship, but both times coming up short.
