AEW Women's World Title Match Set For Double Or Nothing

The AEW Women's World Title match is official for Double Or Nothing

Another title match has been announced for the upcoming Double Or Nothing pay-per-view on May 29 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

All Elite Wrestling revealed on Wednesday's edition of Dynamite that Thunder Rosa will defend her AEW Women's World Championship against Serena Deeb at the May 29 show.

The match came about on last night's episode following a confrontation between Deeb and Rosa.

Following a short promo in which Rosa called out the number one contender, Deeb obliged and said she would take the title at Double Or Nothing because she is the best wrestler in the world. The match was then made official by All Elite Wrestling.

Thunder Rosa has been AEW Women's World Champion since she defeated Britt Baker for the gold in a Steel Cage Match at St Patrick's Day Slam earlier this year. She has successfully defended the championship against Nyla Rose so far.

Already set for Double Or Nothing is an AEW World Title match between champion Hangman Page and CM Punk, and the finals of the Men's and Women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournaments.
