AEW Wrestler Undergoes Surgery

An injured AEW star has had a successful surgery

AEW’s masked talent Bandido has been on an unfortunate journey throughout 2023, before being stopped in his tracks by injuries. He was supposedly on the road to recovery for his injured wrist, but it worsened and he needed to take more time away from AEW programming. He revealed that surgery was required.

Over the weekend, Bandido has now revealed that he successfully underwent surgery for his wrist, posting on social media and saying, “2nd surgery was successful. In first place a wanna say thank you to God for always keep with me! To @AEW workers and fans!! who always support me!! and in a very special mention @TonyKhan for all the attentions that he’ve had to me and my family THANK YOU VERY MUCH”

It isn’t clear how much longer the surgery will keep Bandido out of action in AEW. He hasn’t competed in a match since all the way back in June when he took on Konosuke Takeshita on AEW Rampage in a losing effort.
