AEW/ROH Global Wars Set For Australia Debut

Ring of Honor Global Wars is returning, with the long-standing ROH show set to make its Australia debut.

Co-branded with parent company All Elite Wrestling, Global Wars will take place during AEW’s trip to Brisbane for Grand Slam, with several matches announced for the event on February 15.

ROH Women’s World Champion Athena will put the title on the line against Alex Windsor, with Windsor making her first appearance in an ROH ring. Can she be the one to end Athena’s near 800-day reign?

The ROH Pure Championship will be on the line with Lee Moriarty putting the belt up against TMDK member and Australia native Robbie Eagles. This will be Eagles’ first match in ROH since July 2024.

Elsewhere, ROH World Tag Team Champions The Sons of Texas (Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara) will put the title on the line against MxM Collection, whilst ROH World Champion Chris Jericho and Learning Tree associates Bryan Keith and Big Bill will take on Bandido and The Outrunners in trios action.

The event will be the first under the Global Wars banner since 2019. It is assumed the matches will air on ROH Honor Club.
