AJ Lee Potentially Teases An In-Ring Return

AJ Lee has not wrestled since all the way back in 2015, stepping away from the ring and entering retirement despite still being young and very popular amongst WWE fans. 

With the return of CM Punk to WWE, and with him also mentioning AJ Lee by name in his comeback promo, speculation naturally started when it comes to a potential return for the former Divas Champion. She has added some fuel to the fire with some recent posts on her Instagram story. 

Lee posts clips of her training in the ring with husband CM Punk, though this was back when she was working and training for the professional wrestling centered show Heelz. Interestingly though, she also posted a picture seemingly donning her iconic ring gear. Both of these hint towards a potential in-ring return, and she must’ve been sure that it would get fans talking.

CM Punk also replied saying, “You still got it.” The Royal Rumble 2024 event is fast approaching, and the show hosts a lot of surprise returns each year, so fans will be keeping an eye out for Lee at the PPV.
