Styles is staying with WWE

AJ Styles has reportedly put pen-to-paper on a new long-term deal with WWE despite approaches made from other promotions.
Styles has been with WWE since 2016, making his shock debut in the Royal Rumble match as the third entrant, and has gone on to become a WWE Grand Slam Champion and an established main-eventer in the company.
A recent heavy loss to former tag-team partner Omos had some fans speculating about Styles' future in WWE, particularly when previous reports are considered. It was reported back in 2019 that Styles had signed a three-year deal with the promotion, meaning his contract would be expiring this year.
However, Dave Meltzer has noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Styles has recently signed another new deal with WWE, between three to five years along, despite attempts being made to gauge interest in jumping ship by other promotions.
Meltzer said: "He just signed, I don’t know if it’s a 3 or a 5 [year deal]. It wasn’t that long ago when he signed it. He’s not going anywhere.
"He had the chance to go if he wanted to but he was not interested. There were certainly overtures made for him and they were good money overtures but he’s in his mind, I think he’s a lifer there. Whether that’s the right or wrong call, I couldn’t tell you."
