AJ Styles Returns To WWE SmackDown, Attacks LA Knight

AJ Styles is finally back in WWE. After weeks of rumours swirling about an impending return, the former WWE Champion made his comeback on Friday Night SmackDown last night. 

The babyface duo of LA Knight and Randy Orton were on the receiving end of a beatdown from The Bloodline, and this led to AJ Styles appearing, delivering a Phenomenal Forearm to the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns after his entrance music served as a distraction. 

However, in the aftermath of saving Knight and Orton, Styles turned his back on Knight immediately and laid him out with a clothesline. The new-look Styles stood emotionless, seemingly turning heel for the first time since 2017 (his black jeans certainly signaled a turn to the dark side). Styles had been ruled off television since September with a legit injury, being attacked on-screen by Solo Sikoa to explain his three month absence. Going forwards, it isn’t clear whether Styles will be feuding with The Bloodline, LA Knight, or both.
