Akira Tozawa Brings Back Old Look Ahead Of WWE Raw

A new/old look for Akira Tozawa in WWE

Akira Tozawa has changed up his look.

The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion had competed inside the squared circle in ninja gear since he was involved in the cinematic fight between The Viking Raiders and The Street Profits at Backlash 2020. Tozawa hinted a change was coming, though, after he tweeted "thank you" with an image of his ninja gear following his loss to Baron Corbin on last week's episode of Monday Night Raw.

Tozawa then resurfaced this week with his old wrestling gear of shorts at the Main Event taping where he went one-on-one with NXT's Grayson Waller. Tozawa appeared in his shorts once again on Raw later in the night, stealing JBL's hat which distracted Corbin and allowed Drew McIntyre to pick up the win in their match with a Claymore.

Tozawa has been a part of WWE since 2016. He has spent the past couple of years involved in the 24/7 Title picture and he is a 24/7 Champion. That belt has since been retired, though. Tozawa has also competed regularly on Main Event in 2022 against the likes of Tommaso Ciampa, Mustafa Ali, Xyon Quinn, and Shelton Benjamin.
