Alexa Bliss Returns At WWE Royal Rumble

Two years after her last appearance, Alexa Bliss is back on WWE TV. 

Bliss made her return in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match, entering at number 21. Bliss adorned a 'Fiend 4 Ever' leather jacket for her entrance and a new Lilly doll.

Bliss made it until the 26th entrant entered the match in Raquel Rodriguez and 'Big Mami Cool' combined with her Judgment Day faction mate Liv Morgan to eliminate Bliss, with Morgan taking her out with a Codebreaker after Rodriguez forced Bliss over the top rope.

Bliss was a surprise appearance in the Royal Rumble, especially as she had been locked in a contract stand-off with WWE just days ago. Plans were originally in place for Bliss to return on the January 13 episode of Monday Night Raw in a programme with the Wyatt Sicks but WWE put all creative plans for Bliss on hold following a contract dispute. 

This came after representatives for Bliss sought a new contract ahead of her return but WWE expected Bliss to come back under the terms of her existing deal, which had already been extended due to her hiatus. Whether a compromise was reached to bring about Bliss’s return at the Royal Rumble is unknown. 

Alexa Bliss had been gone from WWE TV since January 2023, giving birth to a daughter in late 2023. Bliss also suffered from postpartum health complications.
