Alexa Bliss Reveals Post-WWE SummerSlam Plans

Alexa Bliss wants gold

Alexa Bliss has big plans for after WWE's SummerSlam pay-per-view on July 30.

Bliss was in action on Monday's episode of Raw from Madison Square Garden and The Goddess defeated Doudrop in a four-minute match. Prior to the contest, though, Bliss said in a backstage interview that she was planning to pursue the Raw Women's Championship following SummerSlam, regardless of who the champion is.

Bianca Belair will defend the title she has held since WrestleMania 38 at SummerSlam against former champion Becky Lynch.

Bliss is a five-time women's champion in WWE but she has not held a singles women's title since the summer of 2018 when she dropped the Raw Women's Championship to Ronda Rousey. She has, however, held the Women's Tag Team Championship over two reigns with Nikki Cross (now A.S.H) since then.

Bliss was involved in a singles title feud last year and she unsuccessfully challenged Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women's Championship at the 2021 Extreme Rules pay-per-view. Bliss took some time off following that match before returning in early 2022.
