Andrade El Idolo made his AEW debut on last night's Dynamite, revealed as a new client of manager Vickie Guerrero.

Less than an hour after his debut, AEW officially tweeted out the customary "All Elite" graphic to herald his signing.

The new AEW signing wrote on Instagram on Saturday, “The NEW ANDRADE EL IDOLO. New goals. New opportunities to achieve. More Success. Thank you so much for great introduction @guerrero_vickie thanks for the wonderful welcome @allelitewrestling @aewontnt Nuevas metas. Nuevos rivales. Recuerden lo valioso que son y lo muchos que luchan por cada una de sus metas. Ve y busca el éxito, el éxito no está en el locker room!”

Andrade parted ways with WWE in mid-March, following a long period of inactivity. He had not wrestled since the October 12 episode of Monday Night Raw, and went on to request his release several months ago.

AEW is not the only promotion that Andrade will wrestle for in 2021. He will challenge Kenny Omega for the AAA Mega championship, at AAA TripleMania XXIX on August 14 in Mexico City.
