Andrade El Idolo is seemingly dealing with an issue.

The former WWE NXT Champion was scheduled to be in action at the RGR Lucha Libre show on Sunday, November 20 in Cudahy, California. Andrade announced in a video on the promotion's Facebook page, however, that he would be unable to compete due to having "an issue to attend."

"Greetings to all my friends in Los Angeles! I would have loved to meet you all this Sunday, but I had an issue to attend. I will be giving more details about it at a later date. If it had been up to me, I would have loved to be there with you all. I hope to see you all again in Los Angeles and I apologise," Andrade said from a hospital bed.

El Idolo has not wrestled since the All Out pay-per-view on September 4. He was set to face Dark Order's 10 in a Mask vs. Career Match on the October 7 episode of Rampage but that match was scrapped after Andrade punched Sammy Guevara during a backstage altercation. El Idolo was subsequently suspended and he has yet to return to AEW TV.

It was noted in early October that Andrade was trying to get fired, seemingly so he could return to WWE.
