Andrade El Idolo Wants AEW To Create New Titles For Collision

Andrade El Idolo wants more titles and a hard roster split in AEW

All Elite Wrestling already have plenty of championships spread across their programming but Andrade El Idolo wants the promotion to introduce a hard roster split and create new titles that would be exclusive to Collision.

"I don't know yet, but I hope [the shows will be] separate. I hope [they] make a new title. Maybe separate the brands like it's another company. I hope that Dynamite, the roster, and the talent - Collision, this new brand for AEW, I wish [for the shows to be] separate. I don't know yet," Andrade said on the Please Steal Our Ideas podcast.

Andrade then doubled down on wanting more titles, adding: "I wish. I hope so, too because this is a new brand. We need new goals. If we have different titles, it's good because you can compete for the title."

After being asked if more belts would saturate the market and lessen the status of MJF as AEW World Champion, El Idolo stated: "I think it's good. I love the idea because this is more opportunities for the roster, more storylines for the titles. I think maybe in the future, or maybe soon, [new titles] is a good idea. I hope the office or the writers [will hear this]. Yeah, 100%. We need a new title."

Collision is set to debut on Saturday, June 17 on TNT in the United States. The first show will be headlined by a Trios Match of CMFTR vs. Samoa Joe, Jay White, and Juice Robinson. Andrade is set to be a headline talent on Collision.

Tony Khan recently revealed AEW will have a soft roster split between Collision and Dynamite with select talents exclusive to one show.
