Andrade Wants "The Whole Family" In AEW
Could we see the Flairs join El Idolo?
When Andrade El Idolo arrived in AEW from WWE many fans were shocked but not surprised. Perennially misused on WWE’s main roster, it was clear the former NXT Champion wanted out. Now, according to a report from Wrestling Observer Radio’s Dave Meltzer, Andrade wants his ‘whole family’ in AEW.
Meltzer said:
“Andrade has told people that he wants the whole family there [AEW]. And by the whole family he means Rush, Bestia [Del Ring] Dragon Lee, him, Ashley [Charlotte Flair] Ric [Flair] that’s what he wants.”
Meltzer also said that whilst he doesn’t know Charlotte personally, he believes her to be a ‘WWE lifer’, and that many within the wrestling world are interested in her contract status.
In recent weeks, Ric Flair has officially departed WWE, whilst rumours surrounding the contract status of Rush never seem to die down.
With Andrade aligned on AEW TV with the Guerreros, and courting The Lucha Bros Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero M, the idea of Rush and co joining the action is an exciting prospect indeed.
