Andrew Yang Asks WWE Performers To Contact Union Labour Attorney Following Call With US Department Of Labor

Yang has asked Superstars to get in touch

Former Democratic Party Presidential Candidate Andrew Yang has called on current and former WWE Superstars to contact a union labour attorney so they can "get you what Vince owes you."

Yang has been working to end the classification of WWE Superstars as independent contractors and the entrepreneur previously said he would work with a possible Joe Biden administration to ensure WWE performers are classified as employees.

Joe Biden ultimately won the 2020 US presidential election and Yang has resurfaced today following a call with the Department of Labor, asking former and current WWE Superstars to get in touch with attorney Lucas Middlebrook.

Middlebrook describes himself as a "union side labor attorney representing airline and professional sports-related labor groups including professional fighters."

Yang tweeted: "Had a call with the Department of Labor. If you are a current or former @WWE performer who feels you were misclassified as an independent contractor contact @lkmiddleb and let's get you what Vince owes you. Been a long time coming but this storyline is real."

Speaking about WWE's classification of their Superstars as independent contractors, Yang previously said the company does it because of "plain f*cking greed."
