Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo Receive New WWE Names

Say goodbye to 'Garza' and 'Carrillo'

Not only do Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo have a new tag team name and a new brand, but the recently-christened Los Lotharios also have new in-ring names.

Garza is now billed as just 'Angel' on WWE.com and Carrillo has also lost his surname. He will be billed as simply 'Humberto' going forward.

Angel and Humberto are just the latest WWE Superstars to lose their surnames. The likes of Big E, Shotzi Blackheart, Cesaro, Neville and Andrade El Idolo all underwent WWE names changes in the past. Raw Tag Team Champion Matt Riddle also lost his forename shortly after moving to the main roster and he has been billed as 'Riddle' for the past year.

Real-life cousins, Angel and Humberto started teaming together in September of this year after feuding on-and-off for the prior 18 months. They quickly went on a winning streak on Monday Night Raw and Los Lotharios picked up their first win since being drafted to Friday Night SmackDown on November 5, defeating Cesaro and Mansoor.
