Another Executive No Longer Involved With TNA Wrestling

Another TNA Wrestling executive has departed the company

TNA Wrestling has found itself in a state of overhaul, following the recent firing of President Scott D’Amore after the successful rebranding of the company at Hard to Kill in January.

Company owners Anthem Sports & Entertainment replaced D’Amore with Antony Cicione in early February, and a report from Haus of Wrestling suggests that long-time TNA executive Ed Nordholm has also departed the company.

Nordholm formerly served as President of IMPACT Wrestling, with D’Amore and Don Callis serving under him as EVPs. After D’Amore was promoted to President in 2023, Nordholm stayed with the company, working underneath D’Amore.

Haus’ report states that Nordholm is still part of the Anthem set-up, just no longer working with the TNA brand or indeed any part of the sports side of Anthem. Sources within TNA stated that Nordholm was very close with D’Amore, with it believed that the decision to move Nordholm on from TNA was made ‘weeks ago’, likely around the time Anthem started to move away from D’Amore.

D’Amore’s exit came as a shock to many, with TNA believed to be allowing upset contracted talents to discuss contract releases should they desire their exit.
