Another Law Firm Investigating WWE

Another investigation into WWE has begun

Another law firm have begun investigating WWE.

It was announced today that the Schall Law Firm, a "national shareholder rights litigation firm" are investigating WWE for "violations of the securities laws" on behalf of WWE investors.

The investigation is focused on "whether the Company issued false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose information pertinent to investors." A press release issued by the firm referred to the Wall Street Journal report from last week that revealed WWE's board are investigating Vince McMahon over a $3 million hush payment he made to a former employee over an alleged sexual relationship. The press release also mentioned other nondisclosure agreements that involve McMahon and WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis, as well as the Special Committee of the WWE Board investigation into the misconduct allegations that was announced on Friday, June 17.

Shareholders who have suffered a loss have been asked if they want to participate in a class-action lawsuit and to contact the law firm.

This latest investigation comes after Scott+Scott Attorneys at Law LLP announced they are investigating if WWE directors and officers breached their fiduciary duties and if WWE and their shareholders suffered damages because of a possible breach.
