Anthony Bowens Out With Injury

Anthony Bowens out of action

Anthony Bowens hasn't competed inside the ring in All Elite Wrestling since the March 9 edition of Dynamite when he and Acclaimed tag team partner Max Caster failed to defeat Jurassic Express for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

Tony Khan revealed why Bowens has been absent from the ring on Busted Open Radio and the AEW President noted The Five-Tool Player is currently out of action with a knee injury.

"I really like Anthony a great deal. He's been injured. We don't think it's anything too long-term, but the truth is, he was supposed to be back by now and that's jammed me up the last couple weeks in planning. He's been out almost a month and they originally thought it was going to be two weeks. It's been a few weeks I've been looking forward to bringing him back. He's recovering from what is hopefully a short-term knee injury," Khan said.

Bowens previously suffered a knee injury in his AEW debut back in September 2020 but he continued to perform until he took two months off to recover in February of 2021.

When Bowens will be back in action is currently unknown.
