Are WWE Changing Bray Wyatt's 'The Fiend' Entrance Already?
SummerSlam debut was off the charts...
Aug 13, 2019
One of, if not
the
highlight of WWE SummerSlam 2019 was the in-ring debut of The Fiend.
Bray Wyatt's new character demolished the departing Finn Balor -
the leader of Balor Club has been granted a couple of months off from WWE duty
- after debuting a new theme and entrance.
One of the major parts of that entrance saw Bray keep his customary lantern, however, it's now housed inside his own severed head... well, a really realistic version of the dreadlocked Wyatt we saw teaming with Matt Hardy.
It looks like the new lantern could be getting changed already, as WWE's YouTube channel has been showing some rather suspicious behaviour since the end of
the biggest party of the summer
.
Initially, Wyatt's full entrance as it was shown on the WWE Network was uploaded to the company's YouTube channel.
However, that initial clip was taken down and replaced by a version that doesn't show the lantern prominently at all. Obviously, Bray is still carrying the light by his side as he walks down the ramp, but the new video begins after the closeups at the start of the entrance and ends before the closeups on the ring apron (seen above).
Does this mean anything for the future of the lantern? Were the changes made to the YouTube clip due to it being demonetized? Only time will tell.
