Ashante "Thee" Adonis Receiving Interest From TNA

Ashante "Thee" Adonis is attracting interest from TNA after leaving WWE.

Adonis recently left WWE upon the expiration of his contract and there are those within TNA who would like to see him make some appearances there, per a report from Fightful Select. He wrestled for TNA (who have a working relationship with WWE) back in January, losing to Jake Something on the Countdown to Genesis show.

Ashante's former Hit Row teammate AJ Francis (FKA Top Dolla) is currently a member of the TNA roster, where he heads up the Fir$t Cla$$ group.

Fightful's report noted that Adonis (real name Tehuti Miles) was informed by WWE two weeks ago that his contract would not be renewed. He had a main roster contract, despite spending most of the past year in NXT, where he received internal praise for his desire to improve, which included training elsewhere on his own time.

Since his contract expired as opposed to him being released, Miles is not bound to a no-compete clause and would be free to accept bookings immediately.
