Aubrey Edwards To Make AEW In-Ring Debut

AEW’s referee Aubrey Edwards has been a fan favourite for her no-nonsense attitude as an official, though after an altercation with Karen Jarrett at the Double or Nothing 2023 event in which the referee was blasted over the head with a guitar, she will be strapping up the boots and replacing her refereeing attire with wrestling gear.
Following a brawl on Rampage last week, Karen Jarrett and Aubrey Edwards got into the thick of it once again this week with the pair wanting a match, although AEW wouldn’t sanction it. Mark Briscoe entered the scene and announced that he’d managed to organise what may be one of the most bizarre and surreal matches in AEW history.
He revealed that a mixed tag team match would take place in which Karen Jarrett would team with Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal to battle the trio of Aubrey Edwards, Mark Briscoe and Papa Briscoe (Mark’s father). It hasn’t been revealed as of yet when and where this crazed match will occur.
