'Audible Groans Backstage' Following Queen Of The Ring Actress' Comments At AEW Revolution

One of the actors in Queen of the Ring casually exposed the business during Sunday night's Revolution pay-per-view from All Elite Wrestling, and right before the main event too.

Queen of the Ring - the biopic of Mildred Burke which stars the likes of Emily Bett Rickards, Walton Goggins, Toni Storm, Britt Baker, Kamille, and WWE's Naomi - was promoted heavily during Revolution and Damaris Lewis, along with the director of the movie Ash Avildsen and Kelli Burgland, was interviewed by Tony Schiavone ahead of Jon Moxley vs. Cope.

After comments from Avildsen, though, Damaris Lewis casually mentioned that the results of a professional wrestling match are predetermined, saying: "One thing I learned about pro wrestlers, y'all know you're gonna win before anybody else does, so thank you for teaching me that."

A member of AEW's commentary team could be heard snickering following Lewis' comments, while the moment reportedly led to "audible groans backstage", according to Fightful Select.

As was decided upon by AEW CEO Tony Khan, Jon Moxley defeated Cope and Christian Cage in the main event of AEW Revolution to retain the AEW World Championship. Cage inserted himself into the match to make it a Three Way by cashing in his Money in the Bank-esque contract.
