Austin Theory Wants The Undertaker To Return At WWE Royal Rumble

The US Champ would like to see The Undertaker as a surprise entrant this Saturday

One thing that fans look forward to most when it comes to the Royal Rumble is the potential for surprise entrants.

When asked during a recent Q&A who he would want to see enter the Rumble this coming weekend, WWE United States Champion Austin Theory named The Undertaker, saying: "In terms of surprises, it'd be really cool to see The Undertaker again. I don't know if we're gonna get to see that, but, you know, it's the Royal Rumble. Who knows?"

The Deadman retired from in-ring competition following his Boneyard Match victory over AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36 in 2020. During his 2022 Hall of Fame induction speech, he did say 'never say never' when fans began chanting for 'one more match'.

The Undertaker last entered a Royal Rumble in 2017 (which also took place in San Antonio, Texas). Entering at number 29, he eliminated The Miz, Sami Zayn, Baron Corbin and Goldberg before being eliminated by Roman Reigns.

The 2007 Royal Rumble winner last appeared for WWE on this past Monday's episode of Raw where he (as The American Badass incarnation of his character) helped Bray Wyatt take down LA Knight.
