Batista Wants To Be Inducted Into The WWE Hall Of Fame In 2023

Could Batista finally be heading for the WWE Hall of Fame in 2023?

Whilst the WWE Hall of Fame is a frequent topic of discussion amongst wrestling fans, there are several stars whose potential place in the HOF can’t be called into question, such as multi-time world champion Batista.

‘The Animal’ was scheduled to go into the Hall of Fame in 2020 before it was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and when the rescheduled HOF took place a year later in the Thunderdome, Batista was nowhere to be found, preferring to be inducted in front of a live audience.

With WrestleMania season on the horizon, talk of the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame has started, and Batista revealed to Comicbook.com that he’s hoping 2023 will be his year:

"I hope so, but I can't say for sure. I can say that I'm trying. I am trying," said Batista when asked about a potential induction as part of the 2023 class.

A multi-time WWE and World Heavyweight Champion, Batista last wrestled at WrestleMania 35 in 2019, losing to long-time ally/rival Triple H in a No Holds Barred Match. Time to finally give him what he wants.
