Bayley Injured At WWE Live Event

Bayley suffered an injury at last night's WWE live event

WWE star Bayley was injured during last night's live event in Salisbury, Maryland.

The Damage CTRL member suffered the injury while competing against Asuka, Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair in a WWE Women's Championship match, with Bayley suffering an apparent injury to her right knee.

Video showed Bayley running and trying to avoid Asuka, who had fallen in her path. She herself then fell over and didn't get up. The match was stopped, with the referee throwing up the 'X' sign to signal to those backstage that the injury was legitimate.

Asuka quickly pinned Flair to end the bout, with a doctor then entering the ring to work on Bayley, who was able to leave under her own power with help from officials.

The 34-year-old later tweeted a picture of her knee resting on the trainer's table with an ice pack on it captioned "I'll be alright, thanks everyone."

Bayley tore her left ACL while training at the WWE Performance Center in 2021, resulting in a 13-month layoff. Bayley has been feuding with Shotzi in recent weeks on SmackDown.
