Bayley Responds To Report About Her WWE Return

Bayley has been out of action since July 2021 after tearing her ACL at WWE’s Performance Centre, and with the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania around the corner, speculation has only mounted as to when the former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion could make her in-ring return.

However, it seems online speculation is news to Bayley herself, who has taken to Twitter to address the rumours.

Twitter user @WrestlingAl1 Tweeted the following, mentioning a report from Dave Meltzer:

“The Wrestling Observer Newsletter says @itsBayleyWWE could return from injury as early as next month, but it’s more likely she’ll be back in March. @SashaBanksWWE is also expected to return in March.”

Bayley sarcastically replied, Tweeting:

“OMG GOOD TO KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE ALWAYS ACCURATE”

Before her injury occurred, Bayley was in the midst of a feud with then WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, with a scheduled match between the two at Money in the Bank 2021 scrapped due to Bayley’s injury. Initial reports at the time suggested Bayley would be out for nine months, meaning a March return would be in line with initial expectations.
