Bayley Talk Show Segment Was Considered For WWE WrestleMania 37

Ding Dong Hello is a Ding Dong No-Go

Several WWE superstars are notable by their absence for the upcoming WrestleMania 37, but none more so than Bayley.

The former Smackdown Women’s Champion was arguably the MVP of the entire WWE in 2020, but has been used little as of late, mainly hosting her ‘Ding Dong Hello’ talk show segment on Smackdown.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a Bayley talk show segment was at one point considered for WrestleMania 37, possibly heralding the return of Becky Lynch.

Meltzer said:

“If they add a Bayley talk segment to Mania, that would likely be Lynch’s return as the idea of her driving a big truck in at one of the two Mania shows during a Bayley talk show segment is something we were told was being planned at one point. That also explains Bayley seemingly not booked for the show after a year when she was women’s MVP.”

As always with WWE, card is subject to change and there is still a minor possibility that Bayley and/or Lynch could appear at Mania, especially as it'll be the first major WWE show to feature a crowd in 2021.
