Becky Lynch Reveals WWE Survivor Series 2021 Post Match Comments To Charlotte Flair

A highly emotional match

Becky Lynch has revealed what she told Charlotte Flair immediately following their immensely personal match at WWE Survivor Series 2021.

Lynch defeated Flair in the opening bout of the night in a match that, while billed as Raw Champion vs. SmackDown Champion, had a lot more attached to it amidst personal issues between the two former best friends.

The Man was visibly emotional in her post-match interviews and explained that she don't think she really got just how sad the whole situation is until she went out for the match in Brooklyn.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani for BT Sport immediately after the match, Lynch said: "I wanted to maim her and I wanted to hurt her, and that's somebody that I used to be close to. I've talked to you before about how this has gone so sour and I don't think it really hit me until tonight just how sad that all is.

"We went out there and we killed each other. We hit each other as hard as we could. We just wanted to hurt each other.

"I told her I'm the better person and she can't accept it. Now she's going to go cry to her dad, cry to everybody else, but there's no denying it now. It started in Brooklyn and it ended in Brooklyn.

"I said go cry about it. I said you can talk sh*t but I'm better than you. I said a lot of stuff."

When asked if she thinks her and Flair can now bury the past and perhaps be friends again in the future, Lynch added: "Honestly I don't know if it's possible. It's a good thing we're on different brands. I think let there be some time between this.

"I just don't know if we can be in the same business and be friends. I don't think we can both be on top and be friends."
