Becky Lynch: Ronda Rousey Doesn't Respect Pro Wrestling As Much As She Should
Becky Lynch has given her thoughts on Ronda Rousey
Ronda Rousey arguably has a love/hate relationship with pro-wrestling. Although a lifelong fan who transitioned seamlessly from UFC to WWE to become one of the latter’s biggest stars, Rousey has at times been vocal about her frustrations in the wrestling world, taking aim at fans and fellow pros at various points in her career.
Becky Lynch has certainly been paying attention to Rousey’s conduct in and out of the ring, saying the following to ESPN’s Rachel DeMita about the ‘Rowdy One’:
“I think she doesn’t respect it [pro-wrestling] as much as she should, I mean she’s gone off on tangents disrespecting the sport that I’ve given my life to, that I love, that I obsess about. Both of us have come back from having a child and one of us has come back better than ever and one has not. I am the one who has come back better than ever and I think that you need that respect for this business, that obsession for this business to be able to do that. I don’t think that she put as much work in as I do and it shows,” said Lynch.
The two famously exchanged words on social media in the build to their WrestleMania 35 main event, with the lines between kayfabe and reality sufficiently blurred.
