Becky Lynch Was Only 60% Sure She'd Return To WWE

Big decisions for Lynch

Becky Lynch's return to WWE was far from certain.

The Man went on hiatus from WWE in May 2020 after announcing she was pregnant and she would ultimately give birth to daughter, Roux, later in the year.

Rumblings about Lynch's comeback began in early 2021 and The Man eventually made her return at SummerSlam and defeated Bianca Belair to win the SmackDown Women's Championship.

Speaking to Ryan Satin on Out Of Character, Lynch admitted she was only 60 percent sure that she would eventually return to wrestling.

"I was probably 60%, I was going to come back, but there is that 40%. I don't know how I'm going to be as a mother. I know how I am as a single woman with no other real priority, but as a mom and as a person in charge of a tiny being, I didn't know how I was going to be and if it was going to change me so much that I would be like, 'You know what, maybe I just want to be at home now.' I do not want to be at home," Lynch said.

Lynch also reflected on training after giving birth and the former Raw Women's Champion revealed she knew by February 2021 that she was ready to go back on the road with WWE.
