Bellator MMA Interested In Having Jack Gallagher Fight?

Could "The Gentleman" take to the cage once more?

Bobby Lashley, Jack Swagger, and Ken Shamrock are among a group of individuals that have both fought for Bellator MMA and graced a wrestling ring with some regularity. If interest from the mixed martial arts organization in a certain 205 Live competitor continues to progress, said WWE talent could follow in those same footsteps.

"Gentleman" Jack Gallagher is reported to have been subject of interest from Bellator MMA, according to Dave Meltzer. Meltzer notes that no deal is in place, but there have been talks.

A trained grappler who once came under the tutelage of legendary catch-wrestler Billy Robinson, Gallagher fought in two amateur MMA fights earlier this decade, as a lightweight under the name Jack Claffey.

Gallagher won both of those fights via submission, defeating Stefan Cowley with a guillotine choke in December 2015, and Cesar Valencia with an armbar in April 2016. A fight scheduled with a man named Niyi Behan for August 2016 was cancelled.

Two months prior to that planned fight, Gallagher made his WWE debut in 2016's Cruiserweight Classic.
