Bianca Belair, Sasha Banks Win "Best WWE Moment" Award At ESPYs

For their WrestleMania 37 match

The SmackDown Women's title match between Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 37 was the recipient of the "Best WWE Moment" at tonight's ESPY Awards.

The Banks vs. Belair match won out over 15 other WWE moments to win the award. Fan voting determined which moments advanced through a bracket of entries.

Belair vs. Banks beat out Belair winning the women's Royal Rumble match, Edge winning the men's Rumble match, and Bad Bunny performing a Canadian Destroyer, to take the award.

Belair defeated SmackDown Women's champion Banks to win the historic match at the conclusion of WrestleMania 37's first night. She has reigned for the last three months with the title, defeating Bayley at consecutive pay-per-views. Her next challenger is Carmella, whom she faces on SmackDown this Friday night.

The "Best WWE Moment" ESPY debuted in 2019. Roman Reigns' return from leukemia that year was the inaugural winner of the award. There was no award for 2020, as last year's ceremonies focused on highlighting heroes and other courageous individuals from in and around the sporting world.
