Big Bill could be on his way out of All Elite Wrestling in the near future.
According to Fightful Select, the belief within AEW as of April was that Big Bill's contract was scheduled to expire at the end of May or the beginning of June. It is unknown if Big Bill has since re-signed but the former Big Cass has not been featured on AEW TV or Ring of Honor since the April 6 taping of ROH TV where Big Bill and Bryan Keith picked up a squash win.
Big Bill has been signed to All Elite Wrestling since August 2022, having initially debuted in AEW as part of the then-active working relationship between AEW and TNA in May 2022 as W. Morrissey. He was renamed Big Bill later that year.
Big Bill was initially a member of The Firm in AEW but he transitioned to a tag team with Ricky Starks in September 2023. They would enjoy success together, holding the AEW World Tag Team Titles for 123 days until Bill and Starks lost the belts to Sting and Darby Allin.
After Ricky Starks disappeared from AEW programming in March 2024, Big Bill became a member of the Learning Tree with Chris Jericho and Bryan Keith. This period saw Big Bill become hugely popular in the United Kingdom over All In 2024 weekend.
Following the dissolution of the Learning Tree in April 2025, Big Bill continued to team with Bryan Keith, although Bill has only wrestled twice on AEW TV in 2026.
Prior to his AEW run, Big Bill performed in WWE as Big Cass from 2011 until 2018. He then had a one-year run in TNA from April 2021 to May 2022.
