Big E: As WWE Champion, The Quality Of Monday Night Raw Now Falls On Me

Big E cashed in on Bobby Lashley on the Sept 13 Monday Night Raw

Big E believes the quality of WWE Monday Night Raw, and therefore the viewership, rests on his shoulders as the WWE Champion.

Big E won the WWE Title from Bobby Lashley on the September 13 episode of Raw, cashing in his Money In The Bank contract to claim the Championship. The 35-year-old was involved in two huge matches on last week's show and will defend the WWE Title against Lashley on this week's Raw.

Speaking with Cincy360, Big E said: "In my mind, RAW is my show. That WWE Championship means that RAW is my show. I’m the king of the hill there. Right now, I’ve been kind of going back and forth with SmackDown a little bit, but I anticipate that will be over soon.

"I want to focus on making RAW this best show it can be, and I take pride in that. A lot of times the viewership, the quality of the show is on the WWE Champion. That’s a big marker for having a really good reign.

"RAW will be my focus, but you never know how things can shake out here. It’s a topsy-turvy world. There’s a chance that I might show up [more] on SmackDown, but my focus is on RAW right now."
