Big E Provides Latest Update On Neck Injury

Big E continues to recover

Big E has provided another update on his recovery from a broken neck.

The former WWE Champion has been out of action since he sustained fractured C1 and C6 vertebrae on the March 11 episode of Friday Night SmackDown following a Belly To Belly Suplex from Ridge Holland. Big E revealed following the injury that he would not require surgery but a doctor did note that his in-ring career may be over.

In the latest update, Big E revealed that his C1 vertebra is yet to start forming bone but he is feeling tremendous.

"Update! My C1 isn't ossifying (forming bone) quite yet. The current plan is to get more scans at the one year mark & see how it's progressing. The great news is I feel tremendous & surgery is off the table," Big E tweeted

In Big E's absence from TV, his New Day faction-mates Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have continued teaming together and they have begun a programme with Jinder Mahal and Shanky in recent weeks.
