Billy Gunn Comments On Triple H Possibly Joining AEW

Could Triple H join AEW?

With his vision for WWE developmental having been dismantled in 2021, with Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard now providing the overarching vision for NXT, some have speculated about Triple H's future with the company, especially since he suffered a cardiac event in September of 2021 and his "top executive assistant" was let go earlier this month

Even though The Game's WWE status appears to be less than certain, Billy Gunn doesn't believe Triple H would make the jump to All Elite Wrestling.

"I'm going to say no to that. I'm going to say no to that, and leave it there," Gunn told Wrestling Inc. Daily.

While Triple H may not join AEW, several of his former NXT coaches and producers have signed with Tony Khan's promotion. William Regal debuted in AEW as the manager of Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley at Revolution, while Ace Steel currently helps out behind the scenes.

Since his cardiac event, Triple H has yet to return to NXT and Shawn Michaels now handles the day-to-day running of the developmental brand.
