Booker T Believes NXT Can Break A Rating Of A Million Viewers

Booker T has high hopes for NXT's progression

WWE is pressing forwards with trying to boost the profile of NXT in recent times, trying to turn it into the defined third brand of the company once again, with this being more obvious with the recent influx of main roster stars appearing on the show.

WWE’s tactics have certainly been working, with the recent edition of NXT scoring its biggest viewership in over a year this past week, surpassing 750,000. NXT commentator Booker T believes NXT’s momentum will keep going, explaining on The Hall of Fame podcast that the developmental brand could break the 1 million mark.

"I really think NXT numbers, I think they can get up to a million views a show, just because the show is a really, really solid show. It’s really, really good entertainment. The characters really play their role. For me, to see those stars before they become superstars is something very, very important for me to be invested because I want to know who I’m gonna like when they get there. I want to know who’s the guy I’m cheering for.”
