Booker T: WWE Is Not Going To Back Down From AEW Anytime Soon

Booker is excited for Friday's show-down

Booker T is excited for this Friday as WWE SmackDown and AEW Rampage directly compete for the audience of the first time.

The final 30 minutes of a supersized edition of Friday Night SmackDown will run opposed to the opening 30 minutes of AEW Rampage, with the two wrestling shows competing for viewership.

Booker T is looking forward to seeing what WWE pull out of the bag for the supersized SmackDown.

Speaking on his Hall Of Fame Podcast, Booker T said: ""It's definitely going to show who's eyes are on the product this weekend. Competition, that's what I said before, is good. For WWE to say, 'Hey, we're going to run an extra 30 minutes to show these guys what's up, that's a bold step as well.

"I don't think WWE is going to be backing down anytime soon from AEW. I just don't see that. I think, bumping it up and bringing in the big guns is nothing that WWE is not familiar with. Let's get ready to rumble."
