Braun Strowman Sets New Record On WWE Raw

The Braun show!

WWE have confirmed that Braun Strowman set a first-time ever record on Raw this past week, becoming the first person to compete in televised Singles, Tag-Team and Handicap Matches in the same night.

Strowman's evening on Raw started with the 'Monster Among Men' facing off against T-Bar and Mace in a two-on-one Handicap Match, which turned into a tag-team outing including Drew McIntyre.

Following a confrontation between the two partners, Strowman would then also compete in singles competition against McIntyre to close the show, defeating the Scottish Warrior to be added to the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania Backlash.

Strowman's involvement in the three different match types led to questions about whether his achievement was a first, which WWE have now confirmed it is.

The company claim to have reviewed almost 1,000 record and believe Strowman is the first wrestler in WWE, WCW or ECW history to have achieved the feat.

Writing on social media, they said: "You requested it, we researched it. After reviewing nearly 1,000 records, our data shows that this Monday on #WWERaw, @BraunStrowman became the 1st Superstar in the history of @WWE / #WCW / #ECW to compete in televised Singles, Tag Team AND Handicap Matches - all in the same night."
