In the opening segment of Monday Night Raw, the five members of the men's Survivor Series team gathered in the ring and they each made their case for a WWE Title shot. After Sheamus, Riddle, Keith Lee and AJ Styles had jawed back and forth, Adam Pearce came to Braun Strowman. The Monster was apoplectic about being picked last, though, and attacked the five-time NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion.
Strowman failed to earn himself a title shot with his actions and was subsequently escorted from the building. AJ Styles, Riddle, Sheamus, Randy Orton, Bobby Lashley and Keith Lee went on to square off in singles matches and Styles, Riddle and The Limitless One advanced to a Triple Threat Number One Contender's Match on next week's show.
Strowman did seemingly knock Adam Pearce a little bit loopy, though, as the WWE official later called the WWE Champion Drew McInfart.
WWE Digital revealed earlier today that Strowman has been "suspended indefinitely" for putting his hands on Pearce.
How long The Monster's storyline suspension will last remains to be seen, but Dave Meltzer recently reported that Strowman is scheduled to face Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at the TLC pay-per-view on December 20.
