The NXT Breakout Tournament final was set on last night's edition of NXT.

Odyssey Jones had already earned a spot in the final and Carmelo Hayes was confirmed as his opponent after the former Christian Casanova overcame Duke Hudson on August 17.

Hayes looked impressive throughout the match and he picked up the win after decking Hudson with a Top Rope Leg Drop.

Odyssey Jones then headed to the stage for a staredown with Hayes and WWE confirmed the final will take place on August 24. The winner will earn a championship opportunity.

Also set for next week's show is a six-man tag team match between Hit Row and Legado del Fantasma. The two factions have been feuding for the past month as Santos Escobar pursues the NXT North American Championship. The rivalry heated up on last night's show in a parking lot brawl which ended with Isaiah "Swerve" Scott reclaiming his grill.

Ridge Holland will also take on Timothy Thatcher next week as their feud continues.
