Bret Hart & Buddy Matthews Announced For Warrior Wrestling Sweet 16 Show

Another booking for the former Buddy Murphy

Warrior Wrestling have announced that former WWE superstar Buddy Matthews and Hall Of Famer Bret Hart will be at their Sweet 16 show in October.

Matthews - under the name Buddy Murphy - was released by WWE at the start of June amid ongoing budget cuts by the promotion. The Australian's 90-day non-compete is set to expire at the end of August and he has already been confirmed for a match with Brian Cage in September.

Matthews' next booking seems to have been confirmed with Warrior Wrestling confirming on social media that the 32-year-old will be in action at their Sweet 16 event in Chicago, Illinois on Sunday 16 October.

Matthews' opponent for the show has not yet been confirmed.

Warrior Wrestling have also announced that Bret Hart will also be at the event.

The former Buddy Murphy confirmed his new ring identity in a video posted on social media last week. Buddy Matthews was shown being released from some form of prison, being told he was free.
