Bret Hart Calls Natalya A "Pioneer" In WWE

Bret Hart calls Natalya a "pioneer" for WWE

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart has labelled his niece Natalya a 'pioneer' due to her work in WWE's women's division.

Speaking with wrestling journalist and historian Bill Apter for Sportskeeda, The Hitman said that The Queen of Harts was 'breaking new ground every day' in the company.

Natalya is a former SmackDown Women's Champion, Divas Champion and Women's Tag Team Champion. She has also won more matches than any other female competitor in WWE history.

The Hitman has in the past shown up on WWE television to support the daughter of his Hart Foundation partner, the late Jim Neidhart, such as when he was in her corner at Payback 2016 for Natalya's Women's Championship match with Charlotte (who had Ric Flair in her corner).

Natalya was on stage with Bret to accept the Hart Foundation's Hall of Fame induction in 2019, in memory of her father.

Natalya will have the opportunity to add to her accolades at the upcoming Money In The Bank pay-per-view when she goes one-on-one with Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women's Title.
