If you thought Hulk Hogan's death was going to soften Bret Hart's stance when it came to The Hulkster, well, think again, brother.

The Hitman has never been shy when discussing his feels about Hogan and, during a new interview with The Ringer Wrestling Podcast, Bret didn't mince words when discussing Hulk's legacy.

After saying that Hogan "never looked out for anybody but himself", Hart noted that Hogan's mood towards him shifted when he won the WWE Title for the first time in 1992.

"I always thought the day I won the belt Hulk Hogan would come up to me and pat me on the back and tell me how glad he was I was the guy that they picked to pull the sword out of the stone for him. And unfortunately, that's not how it was. The second I won the belt, I was the enemy. And I had what he wanted, and we were never really friends again after that", he said.

Continuing, Bret likened Hulk to a dishonest elementary school kid, saying:

"When I was a little kid, you go to school, elementary school, there's just always some kids that are bullsh*tters, that just tell bullsh*t. Classic bullsh*tters. That's just the way they are…but I think Hulk Hogan was a bullsh*tter".

Bret contends that Hogan's animosity towards him carried over to WCW, where the two men worked together during the late 90s:

"I will always shake my head and wonder why he was such a roadblock for me. He wouldn't do anything for me. And he made sure, and I know this as a fact, he made sure that when I was in WCW he made sure that they didn't do anything with… 'Don't do anything with him. Just leave him. Have him sit on the bench in the dressing room'".

Hart has previously claimed that Hogan would undercut him during WCW creative meetings.

Hogan, for his part, never understood why Bret had heat with him and believes they got along great in WCW.
