Britt Baker & Co. Show No Mercy To Mercedes Martinez & Thunder Rosa On AEW Dynamite

Strike first, strike hard, no mercy

Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter and Rebel showed Thunder Rosa and Mercedes Martinez no mercy on Wednesday's episode of AEW Dynamite.

Martinez and Thunder Rosa faced off in a No DQ Match on Wednesday's show from Nashville, Tennessee, but the former NXT Superstar wasn't able to accomplish the task she was paid to do and La Mera Mera picked up the win with a Fire Thunder Driver on a pile of steel chairs.

Earlier in the night, Martinez was interviewed alongside Baker, Jamie Hayter, Rebel and Cobra Kai star Martin Kove (Sensei Kreese), who announced after Mercedes had left that Baker should "finish her, no mercy" should The Latina Sensation fail.

That is exactly what Baker did after Martinez's loss and after a brief consultation with Sensei Kreese at ringside, the AEW Women's World Champion gave the signal and Hayter and Rebel descended upon Thunder Rosa.

After Martinez refused to join their attack, they laid her out too, leaving Baker and co. to stand tall on Wednesday.

Baker and Thunder Rosa have a storied history in AEW, having previously feuded in late 2020 and 2021 in a rivalry that culminated with a bloody Lights Out Match. They have since rekindled their hostilities and may well clash at the Revolution pay-per-view.
